Privacy notice

This notice describes the cPanel-hosted shop. A dedicated privacy contact and final retention details must be added before public launch.

Who is responsible

Sparks in Colour, trading as Cheapest Leaflets, is responsible for the personal information described here. Our postal address is 16A Artabrackagh Road, Portadown, Co. Armagh, BT62 4HB. You can contact us through the contact form about your information.

Information we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry topic, optional order reference and message so we can respond. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address and password credentials. Your password is stored as a salted hash, not readable plain text. If you place an order, we also keep your selected products, prices, order status, delivery address and any print-ready PDF artwork you upload. We store session information so you can stay signed in. A draft basket and your cookie notice choice are stored on your device. The site also receives the technical information needed to serve requests and maintain security, such as IP address and request logs.

Why we use it

• Account and order fulfilment: to authenticate you, calculate and save an order, arrange payment, review artwork, produce goods, deliver them and show job status. The intended lawful basis is performance of a contract or steps you ask us to take before one.
• Records and tax: to keep records required by law, under legal obligation.
• Security and support: to prevent abuse, diagnose faults and respond to enquiries or order problems, under legitimate interests in running a secure service, subject to your rights.

We do not currently use account or artwork data for marketing. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies in this preview.

Who can access it

You can view your own account and orders. The store administrator can view customer and order details and download uploaded artwork to process jobs. The site runs on Heart Internet hosting. Customer records are held in a MySQL database and uploaded PDFs in private server storage. Square processes enabled checkout payments; we do not ask you to enter card details into this site. Delivery information will be provided to the carrier handling your order. Service providers may process information for these purposes under their arrangements with us.

How long we keep it

Account and order information remains available while the account and order records are held. Artwork is held with its order for production and customer support. The sign-in cookie is a browser-session cookie; server-side session expiry is set by the hosting configuration. Signing out ends your session. A final retention schedule, including artwork deletion and accounting record periods, has not yet been set for the live shop; it will be stated here before live checkout. Avoid uploading confidential personal data beyond what is needed for your print job.

Your choices and rights

You can update your default delivery details and password in My account. Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to or restrict some uses. You may also have a right to portability. Some order records must be retained to meet legal obligations. You can write to Sparks in Colour at the postal address above with a privacy request; a dedicated electronic contact will be published before launch. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

International processing and changes

Details of service provider locations and any international transfers will be confirmed before live checkout. We will update this notice when payment, support or analytics services are added. The Cookie policy explains storage on your device.
